Irvine Rotary provides a yearly program "Stop the Bleed" teaching high school students life-saving techniques, such as how to use a tourniquet, to save lives in a catastrophic emergency.

CommunitySupport your Firefighters
When natural disasters strike, such as the Airport Fire, which burned more than 20,000 acres and destroyed 30-plus structures, Irvine Rotary supports local wildland firefighters with fresh socks, hydration powder and non-melting snacks for multi-day shifts.
CommunitySupplies for Veterans
Irvine Rotary provides baskets full of household items to formerly unhoused veterans who receive apartments through Mercy House and can't afford pots and pans, dishes and other essentials to start a home.
YouthBooks for the Youth
Irvine Rotary encourages young children to love reading by donating books and reading to 1st and 2nd grade students at "Dr. Seuss Reading Day" at the Boys & Girls Club in Irvine.
InternationalHome Building in Mexico
Once a year, Irvine Rotary heads to Tecate, Mexico with 40-plus other Rotary volunteers for a one-day home build that gives a homeless family a home.
CommunityPumpkins for the Homeless
Irvine Rotary teams up with local professional organizations, such as ProVisors, to decorate and donate Halloween pumpkins to WisePlace, a nonprofit that provides transitional housing to homeless women.
CommunityFood Collection for Boys and Girls Club
Irvine Rotary collects food for the Boys & Girls Club so that kids in the after-school program have snacks to eat after school.
YouthNetworking 101
Irvine Rotary teaches college and high school students networking skills: a 30-second elevator pitch, a professional introduction and an updated LinkedIn profile.
CommunityBaby Baskets for Marines
Irvine Rotary assembles baby baskets with supplies for newborns of Marines stationed at Camp Pendleton, who struggle to buy baby items and raise a family on limited wages.
HealthDental and Eye Clinics
Irvine Rotary runs two yearly dental and eye clinics with volunteer dentists, dental students and an optometrist, giving free dental care, eye care and glasses to underserved patients in Ensenada, Mexico.
HealthSupport EMT
Irvine Rotary provides care bags of healthy snacks for EMT ambulance crews who work 12 to 36-hour shifts and often can't stop for food.
InternationalVictims of Natural Disasters
In times of disaster, Irvine Rotary collects necessities for victims, like hundreds of blankets sent with Turkish Airlines to earthquake victims in Turkey who had no heat at home.
YouthService Above Self Scholarships
Scholarships for Irvine high school students who learn leadership by creating hands-on community service projects in Rotary's Seven Areas of Focus.
CommunityIrvine PD Partnership
Irvine Rotary provides care packages with healthy snacks to Irvine police officers working 12-hour shifts, saving lives and keeping Irvine safe.
