Support of OC Fire Authority at Dixie Fire
100% funded
Largest Single Wildfire in California History
As of August 9, 2021, The Dixie Fire is ravaging Northern California having burned for 28 days, destroyed 935 structures, burned 1,032,648 acres and is only 21 percent contained resulting in unhealthy air quality is now the second largest single wildfire in California history.
While we as the public cannot go to fight these fires, there are steps we can take to prevent or limit these wildfires; and, we can support the brave men and women of the Orange County Fire Authority who have been deployed to fight these fires.
Come join the Rotary Club of Irvine and your community to show our appreciation and support to the men and women of the OCFA who on a daily basis protect the citizens of Irvine and are now deployed to fight the fires that are ravaging California and other States. They work hard all day, and when they finally can take a break they are dehydrated, tired, hungry and wishing for a treat.
How can you help?
We are seeking community support in the form of volunteers, donated items, and financial donations to fill Grab and Go bags for our OC Firefighters.
Donated items can be dropped off at Rotary Club of Irvine Wednesday’s meeting on 8/11 or 8/18 at the Rancho Senior Center, Irvine.
See below to donate financially. Click here to donate items or RSVP to volunteer.
