Our Mission
The Foundation raises money and makes charitable contributions for youth activities and to youth organizations within Irvine area and to other charitable organizations throughout Orange County that align with our annual project priorities – typically to support 1st responders and Veteran families, relieve hunger and homelessness, and fill other unmet needs in Irvine and abroad.
Fundraising
Several fundraising events are held each year. Direct contributions from members, local businesses, other Rotarians and the general public help augment the direct fundraising events. 100% of the net funds collected are used for projects; there are no overhead fees or other charges beyond credit card processing fees.
Budgeting
Each year a budget is proposed by the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club or Irvine to be fulfilled by the Irvine Rotary Foundation. This budget is meant to fill the Community Service, Youth Service, Vocational Service, and International Service project priorities of Irvine Rotarians.
